You will work directly with the Director of Production Bioinformatics and will play an integral role in contributing towards the Company's future growth by leading and ensuring that the next generation of Universal DX's automation tools and computational biology software are robust, scalable, and aligned with security best practices.

Serve as internal expert and guide the configuration of AWS account and S3 configurations Oversee day-to-day operations for custom cloud computing environments for sequencing-based
assays Plan and execute backup and disaster recovery mechanisms for cloud data associated with UDx
analysis pipelines
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for deployment issues associated with UDx cloud computing tools
Serve as technical SME for security risk assessment activities
At least 6 years of practical hands-on experience with AWS account and S3 configurations for enterprise cloud-computing applications
At least 3 years experience with AWS configuration management related to medical data privacy and medical data security, especially HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 820 compliance
Previous experience with computational environments used for bioinformatics and NGS tools is required
Previous experience participating in security risk assessments and managing AWS-related services is required
Previous experience with backup and disaster recovery functions Previous experience selecting and managing threat monitoring and auditing tools for cloud services Previous experience collaborating with software developers, computational biologists,
bioinformaticians, R&D team members, and/or Q&A team members Previous experience with design controls for regulated products is strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering is required
